Service delivery policy
We sell a service, not a shipped product. This page sets out where we work, how long each job takes, and what you actually receive.
1. Nature of what we sell
Shine Car Care provides car detailing services performed on your vehicle. Nothing is shipped or couriered. There is no physical product delivery and no online checkout on this website. Payment is taken in person once work is complete.
2. Where the service is delivered
At our studio
2091 E Ward, Ruikar Colony, Near Temblai Naka, Kolhapur, Maharashtra 416003. A second point operates at Aptenagar, Plot No. 20, Kolhapur. Coating and paint correction work is carried out at the studio only, because it needs controlled lighting and a dust-managed bay.
At your location
Washing, interior cleaning, polishing and Teflon application can be done at your home or office anywhere within Kolhapur city limits. We bring our own water tank, pressure washer and power. You need to provide roughly two parking spaces. A doorstep charge of ₹799 applies.

These are working estimates. Heavily neglected vehicles take longer, and we will tell you at inspection if your car falls into that category. We call you as soon as the vehicle is ready.
4. Booking to completion
- You contact us by phone, WhatsApp or the enquiry form on this website.
- We give you a quote, after photographs or an in-person look.
- You confirm and we hold a slot. Coating jobs need a 25 percent advance.
- You bring the car in, or our doorstep team arrives at the agreed time.
- We carry out the work, calling you if anything unexpected appears.
- We walk you around the finished vehicle in daylight, then you pay the balance.
5. Curing and aftercare
Coatings need time to harden fully. After collecting a coated vehicle:
- Do not wash the car for 7 days.
- Avoid parking under trees or near construction dust for the first 48 hours if you can.
- If it rains within the first 24 hours, dry the car gently with a clean microfibre cloth.
- Afterwards, wash with pH-neutral shampoo. Never use brush-type automatic washes, which will destroy the coating and void the warranty.
We hand you written aftercare instructions with every coating job.
6. Delays
If a job is going to run past the time we promised, we call you before the deadline, not after. Common causes are heavy rain affecting drying, a vehicle in worse condition than expected, or a coating needing extra cure time in humid weather. You are never charged extra for a delay on our side.
7. Free follow-up wash
Ceramic and graphene coating customers get a complimentary maintenance wash every 3 months for the first year. Book it the same way as any other slot.
8. Areas we do not cover
Doorstep service is limited to Kolhapur city and the immediate outskirts. For locations further out, contact us and we will quote travel separately or ask you to bring the vehicle to the studio.
